Variable refrigerant flow systems are multi-split heating and cooling systems designed for commercial properties. These systems use variable refrigerant flow control—an innovative technology developed by Daikin Industries in 1982.
How Does a Variable Refrigerant Flow System Work?
Similar to commercial ductless systems, variable refrigerant flow systems use refrigerant for heating and cooling. Outdoor units are connected to indoor units through refrigerant tubing. These two units work together as a zone control system to distribute warm or cool air to particular areas of your building.
